
Dual-pathway research for CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin
This blend joins a growth hormone-releasing hormone analog with a ghrelin-receptor agonist, creating two distinct receptor pathways that should be studied separately before being interpreted together.
Overview
CJC-1295 / Ipamorelin combines a modified growth hormone-releasing hormone sequence with a growth hormone secretagogue receptor agonist. The two components do not share the same receptor: CJC-1295 relates to GHRH receptor signaling, while ipamorelin relates to the ghrelin receptor, also called GHSR1a.
Structural and in vitro GHRH research has mapped peptide recognition, receptor activation, and sequence–activity relationships. Ghrelin-receptor research uses binding and functional assays to distinguish synthetic secretagogues by potency and selectivity. Analytical mass-spectrometric work has also developed methods for identifying CJC-family peptides.
